The Association Koryvantes – Κορύβαντες and the “Do it in Athens” organisation, successfully organized the event “History of Archery in Asia and Ancient Greece”, which took place on Monday 22 January 2018 in the Cultural Center of Galatsi Municipality “Kamini”.

The event included interactive events for children and adults, an exhibition of Ancient Greek Armor, Ancient Greek Cuisine and presentations:

• by Mr Zafer Metin Ates (World Traditional Archery Federation) on the actions of the World Traditional Archery Federation;
• Mr Yurii Trofymov (Traditional Archery Federation – Ukraine President) on the actions of the Federation in Ukraine;
• Mr Spyros Bakas on the History of Ancient Greek Archery.

The event was under the auspicies of the World Traditional Archery Federation (WTAF), the SIRIOS Sports Club, the Niroi Organisation(Organization for the Propagation of Ecumenical Hellenic Light and Spirit) and the Artist Georgios Roussis,
